Designed to feature The Unfinished Dance and The Dance of Paris two famous paintings by Henri Matisse, this room also contains Daniel Buren’s Walls of Paintings..
The triptychs The Unfinished Dance (1931) and The Dance of Paris (1931-1933) are two versions of the mural commissioned in 1930 by Dr Barnes to decorate the main gallery of the Barnes foundation in Merion (Pennsylvania).
