The arrangements in eight shop windows will show the presence of Les Arts Décoratifs, The Centre Pompidou, the Cité de l’architecture & du patrimoine, la maison rouge, the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris and the Palais de Tokyo, as in 2010, as well as two new participants this year, La Gaîté lyrique and Le BAL.
With Paris & Création, Galeries Lafayette dedicates its display windows to the service of art, giving passers-by a panoramic view of the range of what is culturally available in the city.
The Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris is pleased to offer a glimpse of its extensive permanent collections.
Ariane Michel has been invited to select from those holdings a few works to be displayed along with her own films, thus dreaming up unexpected poetic connections.
This project returns to the playful rule first introduce for Apartés, a presentation based on the collections that renews the usual exercise of displaying art through the eyes of young artists. The particular dialogs that spring up between works generate rereadings of the original pieces as well as new narratives.
